About Me
I'm a father, husband, brother, son, friend & leader. I work hard trying to be the best at those roles that I can. A large part of that work is my internal struggle to follow where He leads me instead of where I want to go. I'm not perfect and like others, I fail. I try to learn from those failures and become a better person instead of kicking myself about for them.
I write to increase my SEO. I also write because when your On The (#Job) Hunt you learn a LOT of stuff. I figure if I learn something and post it here, maybe I can help someone else in their Hunt. You will work harder, dedicate more hours of each day and question yourself more often on the job hunt than in a real job.
I have always enjoyed tech. I love reading about new gadgets that come out and dreaming about how to justify the purchase to my wife (she usually says "no"). I'm passionate about tablets, wireless phones, Microsoft, Google, Bill Gates and a few other subjects. Get me started and we can discuss these for hours.
I have been working since I was 6 years old. My father owned his own business and I started grabbing tools for him and graduated into more responsibility as I grew older. I learned positive work ethic from my father. I also learned how to take care of your clients, doing the job right the first time and the importance of honesty in business. Working for VoiceStream wireless, I earned the top sales award during my first 90 days of employment and later earned recognition as Subject Matter Expert for wireless technology. For 10 years; I worked at TCIM Services, receiving 6 promotions during my first three years of employment. I enjoyed projects in training, quality & consulting. I thrive in every level of corporate training from curriculum design to logistics to training. I also excel as a manager & leader; identifying problems and deriving unique solutions that cut cost or make processes more efficient and encouraging others to partner with me while implementing those solutions. I earn the respect of my peers by employing what I learned from my father; positive work ethic, honesty and doing the job right the first time.
Being On The Hunt is a scary place to be (why do you think its in caps every time I write it???). If I can make that place a little less scary or a little easier than my time invested here is 100% worth the effort.
